NBA Fast Break DIVISION       WNBA Fast Break Division

The 7th and 8th grade division has had 4 boy’s teams with a limit of 10 players.  For the first time in the past 5 years we have a 7th and 8th grade girls division. AMEN!   These divisions will play 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 formats, while in the 5-on-5 format, half the game will be zone defense and half will be man-to-man.   All players must play equally, requiring a real team effort.   The “NBA” Division is competitive.   It provides the exceptional player a chance to improve and gives the beginner an opportunity to see how they can achieve as a young athlete.     The boy’s teams will be issued authentic NBA reversible jerseys and shorts to wear for the season.   Hopefully, the league will be able to offer the players 12 game days with several practice days.  We will also hope to have a SKILLS competition session for both individuals and teams.   We keep scores in this division for individual games, but do not keep standings nor do we have playoffs.   The emphasis will be on fun, learning, teaching, sportsmanship, and competing.
